(Reinbold) Buntin, born Jan. 21, 1930, in Palestine, Ill.Early in his life, he moved with his family to the Schell City area and attended Flat Rock School. Later the family relocated to Powell where he graduated from high school in 1948.He worked in the family's business, Buntin's Recreation Parlor, on Powell's Bent Street. In 1999, he sold the business and moved back to Schell City to enjoy retirement. He served as secretary of Community Betterment there.Graveside services were held March 29 at the Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City.
