Special Olympics Wyoming has put the 2025 Jackalope Jump season on ice after holding 13 jumps throughout Wyoming.
During the season, participants raised funds to jump into icy cold-water and earn some cool incentives. With over 559 jumpers and $127,191 in donations, the 2025 “Camo for a Cause/Freezin’ for a Reason” season is one of the most successful in Special Olympics Wyoming history, according to a organization release. Funds raised benefit Special Olympics Wyoming athletes throughout the state in several ways, like purchasing competition medals, maintaining necessary sports equipment, and organizing high quality statewide and local competitions throughout the year.
The organization thanked all the volunteers, jumpers and donors, for making a lasting difference in the lives of over 2,000 athletes and Unified partners throughout the state.
To make a donation or find out about upcoming volunteer opportunities, call into the Special Olympics Wyoming state office at 307-235-3062.
