Ruby Howe

Longtime Greybull resident Ruby Howe, 84, died after an illness, on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Bonnie Bluejacket Memorial Nursing Home between Greybull and Basin.

Ruby was born in Erda, Utah, on April 28, 1928.

She married Martin Howe in 1952. They were married for 35 years until Martin’s death in 1987.  They sheep ranched on Beaver Creek for years before retiring and moving into Greybull to live.

Ruby is survived by one sister, Irene Warr of Salt Lake City, Utah; her daughter, Martana and husband, Brent Keller of Cerulean, Kent.; her granddaughter, Mardi and husband, Pete Fordham and their daughters, Alecia and Jazmin, all of Cadiz, Kent.; her grandson, Nathan Downer and wife, Emily and baby daughter, Lydia, all of Richmond, Kent.; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby worked hard and loved her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up.  She was gracious and kind to family and friends. She lived with dignity and will be greatly missed.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
