(May 20, 1925 - Jan. 28, 2010)Cody resident Robert Earl “Bob” Wilkins, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at West Park Hospital.He was born May 20, 1925, in Powell, the second son of Paul and Mabel (Cooley) Wilkins.He was involved in farming in the Powell area, as well as in banking in Billings and at First National Bank in Powell. Bob was a carpenter and an accomplished fine woodworker. He was a devoted husband to Sally (Hill), whom he married in 1943, and a devoted father to their children Robert (Judy) of Cheyenne, Barbara Otto of Douglas, Wendy Patrick (Jerry) of Greybull and John of Cody.Bob was a doting grandfather to his nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul Jr. and Earl.Cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests donations be made to the West Park Hospital Hospice Fund, 707 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY 82414.Ballard Funeral Home in Cody is handling arrangements.
