Rev. R. Larry Gandy, of Cody, died Sept. 13, 2015, after 54 years of serving the Lord. He was 75.
He was born July 24, 1940, in Lakeland, Florida.
Larry had been a pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Cody for five years and just recently retired.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Wilkinson) Gandy; two sons, Sean Michael Gandy and William Thomas Gandy; seven grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Jerry) Burse; and three nephews and one niece, all of Lakeland.
Memorial services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, with reception to follow.
Ballard Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
