Dear editor:
This letter is in response to Phyllis Roseberry’s letter to the editor in the Powell Tribune, dated Jan. 23. Ms. Roseberry makes the accusation that I am a member of the Freedom Caucus. I am not. I do, however, share many of their concerns. I’m not going to get into a back and forth debate on her position on the Freedom Caucus. I caution the voters today just like I did during my campaign.
Check up on what Ms. Roseberry is putting out there. Check up on what I’m doing. The electorate sent me to Cheyenne because of the platform I ran on.
I ran as a conservative Republican, nothing more. I wonder why Ms. Roseberry didn’t add in her letter that she’s the chair of Wyoming Rising. Curious.
Rep. Paul Hoeft
(R-Powell)
