As local students transitioned to remote learning, Tasha Miller and her daughters made a last-minute learning area in their home.
“Our basement isn’t totally finished, so we had to work around our unfinished walls and still make it fun and colorful (their artwork is still in the works),” she said.
Last week, as kids started all of their classes from home, Miller said the space was “totally worth it.”
“... The kids had all of their projects and papers to do and we were still able to eat dinner together around our dining table!” she said.
“It was fun to make while we’ve been quarantined! Man, do we miss our teachers though!”
