The Food Bank of the Rockies has donated several pallets of fresh produce, meat and dairy products for distribution to Park County residents. The event will take place at the Park County Fairgrounds in Powell early Friday afternoon.
Residents are asked to line up — beginning at the fairgrounds’ front parking lot off East Fifth Street — at 1 p.m. Those in attendance are asked to clear a 4 foot by 4 foot area in their vehicles for the food boxes to be placed.
There is no requirement to receive the free distribution, but the food will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
