The award comes from Activated Insights, the leading provider of training, recruitment, retention, experience management and recognition tools to improve and grow long-term and post-acute care organizations.
“It is our pleasure to congratulate Powell Valley Care Center for their well-deserved achievement in winning the Customer Experience Award,” said Bud Meadows, CEO of Activated Insights. “It’s wonderful to see the hard work that Powell Valley Care Center is putting in to provide high-quality care — their effort isn’t going unnoticed. This award allows them to provide proof of quality to potential new clients and caregivers.”
Qualifying for the Customer Experience Award signifies that Powell Valley Care Center has consistently ranked within the top 15% of care providers across the nation over the past 12 months.
“I’m so proud of the Care Center team for the passionate care they provide for our residents, families and community,” said Chief Operating Officer Nicole Ostermiller. “We are so lucky to have individuals devoted to enriching the lives of our seniors!! PVCC is the best in the Basin!”
Throughout the year 2025, Powell Valley Care Center engaged residents and their families in monthly telephone interviews. These conversations included open-ended questions and ratings across various categories. Powell Valley Care Center used this feedback to improve care.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the compassion, teamwork, and professionalism our team brings to this community,” said Sandra Ibarra, director of nursing. “The kindness they show, the patience they extend, and the dignity they provide do not go unnoticed. Our staff make this facility a place that residents are proud to call home — and families are grateful to trust.”
