Ag industry veteran George “Pudge” Fagan of Powell drew some broader recognition over the summer, being prominently featured in a trade publication.
Irrigation Leader put Fagan on the cover of the Wyoming edition of the July/August issue. The magazine highlighted the work that Fagan does as an account manager for Agri-Industries, which sells pivot irrigation systems and service.
“Farmers in Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming are saving water and money in their irrigation thanks to George Fagan and the rest of the team at Agri-Industries,” Irrigation Leader reported.
In his interview with the publication, Fagan said that Agri-Industries works to make the most of challenges.
“For example,” he told Irrigation Leader, “the drought we’re in right now gives us an opportunity to be better problem solvers and spread the water out among users, maybe keeping a little water in the reservoir for when it is needed.”
The issue is available online at tinyurl.com/yw43mb32.
Irrigation Leader is mailed at no charge to all irrigation district managers and their boards of directors in 17 western states, state and federal policymakers, and many other companies and individuals with ties to water, according to the publication. Subscribers in Arizona, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Washington and Wyoming receive state-specific editions.
