Emma Katherine Andreasen and Jordan Christopher Moore were married for time and all eternity on Sept. 25, 2020 in the Payson Utah Temple.
In attendance at the intimate wedding ceremony were the parents of the bride, Mark and Amy Adams Andreasen, their children Zander (Sydnee) and Ezra; the parents of the groom, Michael and Amy Burton Moore, their daughter Kenly and daughter-in-law Madelyn Moore; and grandparents of the couple.
Jordan and Emma met on their first day at Powell High School in 2014. A mutual attraction developed, though neither Jordan nor Emma found the courage to voice their feelings directly. Agonizingly unaware of the reciprocal nature of their affection for over three years, they progressed from classmates to close friends, spending many evenings with their mutual friend group and attending some formal dances together. Hints dropped subtly went unnoticed, except by their astute inner circle of friends.
On Christmas Day, 2017, at the apex of unspoken agony, Emma at last revealed her innermost sentiments, giving Jordan the best Christmas present he had ever received. Thus the couple became official.
Following their 2018 graduation from PHS Jordan began service as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Brazil São Paulo South mission while Emma commenced her education at Brigham Young University. The COVID-19 pandemic brought Jordan home sooner than expected, and after 18 months of waiting, the two were reunited, engaged and blissfully wed.
An open house reception will be held to honor the couple on Saturday evening. Friends and family of the couple are invited to RSVP to Amy Moore.
