Dear Editor:
“Kudos” to Donna Sullivan’s letter to the editor in the Tribune’s Feb. 6 edition.
Being a family survivor, police officers have a special place in my heart and we are so fortunate to have such a good Powell Police Department. They are here to protect us, keep us safe and help us in any way we need them to.
I was not aware of officer Matt Brilakis’ health issues but my love and prayers go out to him and his family.
I would like to repeat what Donna said in her letter: Please wave to them as you pass by them on the street and say “thank you” in person when you get a chance. Let them know they are much appreciated.
Nancy Hall
