Powell High School athletic teams will hold their first practice of the 2011-2012 academic year on Monday, Aug. 15. Athletes must have a completed physical before they will be allowed to begin practicing in any sport.
Practice times and locations will be as follows:
Cross Country — Practice at 8 a.m., meet at the Powell High School commons area
Tennis — Practices at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Powell High School tennis courts
Cheerleading — Practices from 3:45-5:30 p.m. at the Powell High School commons area
Additionally, the Powell Athletic Roundtable will be holding a dinner fundraiser on Monday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Powell High School commons area. This will be followed by the all-sport parent meeting. This meeting is required for all parents of Powell High School athletes. Start time for the meeting will be 7 p.m. in the Powell High School auditorium. Individual team parent meetings will follow the general gathering.
