My name is Lisa and I am a recurring monthly donor at the moment. Before I cancel my donation I respectfully request that you as the board please clarify the following concerns that have come to my attention:

1. Jona Harris stepping  down is a concern and needs to be amended immediately. She is the reason that I committed to a monthly recurring donation, as well as donating bleach when PCAS is running low. Jona's integrity, passion and dedication are admired by many. Please help me understand why she felt the need to step down from a position that she was clearly dedicated to?

2. I support PCAS because of their No Kill policy. Please clarify that you are now going to do spay abortions? If this is true I will be canceling my monthly donation. I have read your No Kill policy and certainly do NOT understand or support spay abortions. This is a horror that you would even consider it an option.  

This email serves as my support of Jona and also for the reconsideration of your policy to perform spay abortions. I have encouraged people to become monthly donors because I believed in your mission and because I trust and believe in Jona.

I would appreciate a response to my concerns. If I do not hear from you in a reasonable amount of time, two to three days, I will be canceling my recurring donation and I will be alerting all I know that this absurdity is happening. I will not support spay abortions. Period.

Thank you for your prompt response and am hopeful for an encouraging response that this has all been a sad misunderstanding.

To be clear, please work with Jona and get her reinstated as she has led PCAS with integrity and passion. And absolutely REVOKE IMMEDIATELY any new policy regarding spay abortions. I look forward to your responses.
