The Park County Animal Shelter is running a “Don't be Alone on Valentine's Day” adoption special through Feb. 14. For this limited time, all adoptable cats and dogs can be adopted for just $50. This special event aims to find loving forever homes for our furry friends and ensure no one spends Valentine's Day alone.
Shelter director Jona Harris said many of the animals have had a community member “sponsor” their adoption fee, meaning there is no adoption fee applied to specific animals.
The shelter is currently housing 31 cats and 27 dogs, Harris said, “all eagerly awaiting the chance to become a cherished member of a family. We encourage the community to take advantage of this unique opportunity to bring home a loyal and loving companion.”
People can visit the shelter in person to fill out an adoption application or complete an application online through the website.
