A quick turnaround saw the Powell High School wrestling teams welcoming in the Worland Warriors for a Tuesday night dual.
The Panther girls won two of the three official bouts in their dual, recording a 42-18 dual win once all open weight class points were settled.
On the boys’ side the Panthers built up a 39-0 lead and didn’t lose in any of the first seven weight classes, before securing wins in two of the final three bouts to finish with a 51-27 victory over the visiting Warriors and earn their first dual win of the season.
The Powell girls head out on the road to Idaho this weekend to take part in the Tiger Grizz Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The boys head into Montana for the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic on Friday and Saturday in Missoula, Montana.
Those will be the final out of state tournaments for the Panthers this season.
