The Wyoming Department of Education recently announced the participating Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) organizations for 2020-21. The program reimburses participating organizations for nutritious meals and snacks served to children in child care centers and family day care homes.
Organizations are reimbursed for meals to children who are up to age 12. The same meals must be available to all enrolled children regardless of race, national origin, sex, disability or age.
Centers are reimbursed for meals served at their center. Completing the income application helps the center receive meal reimbursement.
In Park County, participants include the Northwest College Child Care Center, The Learning Garden and Absaroka Head Start in Powell, and Winsor Castle Daycare & Preschool, A Little Paradise, The Crane Academy, True North Academy and the Absaroka Head Start in Cody.
