Thirty-one new members joined the Powell High School Chapter of the National Honor Society this spring.
Since school buildings were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the induction ceremony was held via Zoom on May 12, said NHS adviser Tammy Schiermeister.
Students took a pledge to uphold the purpose of NHS and strive “in every way by word and deed to make its ideals the ideals of my school and my life.”
