Local musicians will turn a Christmas dinner into a musical affair this weekend at The Commons.
Powell event management company Branchlight Entertainment is putting on The Longing and the Light at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The musical dinner features live performances from local talents including Marie Nolan, Drew Murry, Jacob Robertson and others.
The dinner will be created by Brittany Robertson of Mountain Meals & More, a business serving area northwest Wyoming and southern Montana communities with weekly home-delivered meals.
The evening begins with festive hors d’oeuvres and seasonal holiday drinks. Meet the musicians as the first course arrives, then pieces chosen to stir memory, hope, and the timeless spirit of Christmas will be performed. After a brief intermission, dessert accompanies the powerful finale.
