Mj Reifer died April 30, 2012 at the Powell Valley Care Center following a short illness. He was 39.
Mj was born in Red Lodge, Mont., on Dec. 15, 1972 to Ben and Edna Reifer of Fromberg, Mont. He had four brothers, Jake, Karl, Kim and Joe and two sisters, Malinda and Joreen.
He was injured in a horse accident at the age of 2 1/2. He suffered major brain injuries. He was in the care of his parents until their age required him to enter the Powell Valley Care Center.
Mj was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his six siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for July.
