Park County Master Gardeners will be giving away hyacinths — fragrant flowers that bloom in dense clusters — as Mother’s Day gifts.
On Friday, the free plants will be dropped off at the Park County Library in Cody at 10 a.m. and at the Powell Library at 11 a.m.
Residents are asked to practice social distancing, with only one person at a time to pick up a plant; if there are multiple people waiting, please keep 6 feet apart.
There will be approximately 50-60 plants dropped off at each location and there’s a limit of two per household.
