TORRINGTON (WNE) — Wyoming State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist has approved a variance for Goshen County School District No. 1, so its students and staff are no longer required to wear masks.
The school board passed a request for the variance in a 5-4 vote on March 30, with the variance going into effect on Tuesday. If the change impacts a student’s ability to attend a Goshen County school, officials “will work with you to develop a plan of service for your student for the remainder of the school year,” Superintendent Ryan Kramer told parents.
