The Park County Library Foundation is holding its fourth annual Night at the Library Fundraiser to benefit the Park County libraries. This amazing event will be on Saturday, March 28 from 6-9 p.m. at the Cody Library. This event is for ages 21 and over, and includes a fun night where books come alive in the library. The four books are; "Gone with the Wind," "Tombstone," "Alice in Wonderland" and "Sherlock Holmes." Each book is represented with a themed immersive area, with food, drinks, decorations and games that represent the book. Tickets for this event are on sale at the library and online.  

The Powell Library will be hosting its second Trades Fair. The Trades Fair will take place on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Park County Fairgrounds.  Bring the whole family to the fairgrounds where professionals in skilled trades will be showcasing their field through fun and interactive methods.     

Join us on Monday, March 9 at 3:30 p.m. to celebrate the Buckaroo Awards. This fun event is geared for kindergarten through third grade children and families. Come vote for your favorite Buckaroo Book, read the nominees and enjoy some snacks. 

Powell Library is offering Family History Friday on March 27. Sign ups required. 

Teens join us for Teen Crafternoon on Friday, March 6, 1-3 p.m. to make a cryptid keychain. On Friday, March 13 from 1-3 p.m. come to the library and join us for All Ages Crafternoon to make a St. Patrick Day Rainbow Craft. On Friday, March 20 from 1-3 p.m. ages 10-and-up join us as we make shamrocks.    

Grab your Altered Book Club kit after March 11 and create a book honeycomb rabbit.         

Join us for Adult Craft Night on Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. to make an Egg Wreath. Adult Craft Night will be at the Powell Elks Lodge at 581 N. Clark St.     

Tuesday Afternoon Book Discussion meets on March 10 at 2 p.m. where we will be discussing "The Lincoln Highway," by Amor Towles. The evening book discussion will bmeet on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m. to discuss "A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder," by Holly Jackson.

Powell Library is offering Tech Tuesday; sign up for a one-on-one session with Park County Library IT who can help you with your device problems. Tech Tuesday will be on March 17, sign ups required.     

Powell Library is offering Homeschool Hour on Thursday, March 5 and 19 from 2-3 p.m., for ages K-12. 

Bring the kids to the Powell Library for our wonderful children’s programming. Toddler Time every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Join us every Wednesday for Storytime at 1:30 p.m. Join us for kids craft for children 8 years old and up on Friday, March 27, 1-3 p.m. for Straw Painting. Parents remember we have Early Literacy Kits as well as tonies for checkout. Also sign up your child for 1000 Books before Kindergarten. Make sure and check out the new book at the Storywalk at Homesteader Park. This month’s story is "Harry the Dirty Dog," by Gene Zion.
