Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 21 for long-time Greybull resident, Luella Cynthia Clement, 92, who died Tuesday, Oct. 15 at West Park Hospital in Cody.

She was born July 23, 1910, in Madison, S.D., daughter of William Franklin and Fleda May (Harris) Kunkle. She was educated in Greybull and married George Merrill Clement on April 17, 1932, in Belfry, Mont.

She kept books for her husband's business, Standard Oil, for many years until his death in 1980. She worked for Atwood Family Funeral Home, greeting families and friends at viewings at the Atwood chapel in Greybull.

She loved her grandchildren and her cabin in the Big Horn Mountains. She enjoyed cooking for her family, reading, sewing and crocheting. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church at Greybull and a member of the Guardian Council and served as Guardian for Job's Daughters. For many years she belonged to the Greybull Eastern Star, the P.E.O. and the Carnation Rebekah Lodge #26 at Greybull.

Survivors include her daughter, Viola C. Walker of Greybull; her son, Donald Clement and his wife Sharon of Phoenix, Ariz.; her two granddaughters, Vickie Johnson and Luella Carol Knight, both of Powell; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Clement Johnson of Powell and Whitney Johnson of Greeley, Colo.; her brother, Lee Kunkle of Greybull; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; two sisters-in-law; and her husband, George Merrill Clement on Aug. 26, 1980.

A memorial fund has been established at the Big Horn Federal Savings Bank, P.O. 471, Greybull, WY 82426, to go to the Greybull Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Wyoming Retirement Center Alzheimer's unit.
