On July 25, 2026, Linda Marie Cropanese left her earthly home while surrounded by love to be reunited with her husband Frank, the love of her life.

Linda was born in Eureka, California, to William Benjamin Koontz and Lily Joyce Pinckard. At the age of 5, Linda had told her parents that when she grew up she wanted to be a wife and a mother. That was exactly what she did. She married Frank Cropanese on June 17, 1965 in Reno, Nevada. Linda and Frank had three children: Patricia, Frank and Joyce. The family moved to Powell, Wyoming, in 1979.

Linda was the family historian and resident storyteller. She most importantly was known for her love of children and kind heart. Throughout the years she "adopted" many children and grandchildren into the family. She always said she had more than enough love for one more. Whenever we told Linda "I Love You," her response was always "I Love You More."

Linda is now reunited in heaven with her husband Frank, her parents William and Joyce, brothers Robert, Dale and Dennis and sister Tammy.

She leaves behind two beloved daughters Patricia (Vaughn) Paulsen and Joyce Heiser, one son Frank (Debbie) Cropanese, four cherished grandaughters: Tiffany Holland, Francine Mansfield, Linda Mansfield and Jenna Heiser; four great-grandchildren: Curtis Linville, Kenny Holland, Ivy Holland, Kamden Pallett, one brother (Patty) Michael Koontz, one sister-in-law Barbara Cropanese and many, many more she bestowed with the title of family.

We can't bear to say goodbye, so until we meet again ... "I Love You More."

Services will be held Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Seventh Street Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church followed immediately by graveside services at Crown Hill Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life will be held at the American Legion, 143 N. Clark St., Powell, WY.
