She died after being diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia.

She was born June 26, 1955, in Lander, the second child of Kenneth Orson Nielsen and Pauline Joyce Nielsen. She graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1973 and attended Sheridan College, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene.

She married Roger R. Lemons on July 15, 1975 in the Ogden, Utah, LDS temple. The couple resided in Logan, Utah, and Worland before moving to Powell in 1982, where she worked for Drs. Kenneth and Cordelia Hoffmann. They moved to Mesa, Ariz., in the spring of 1996, where she worked for Drs. Fredrick Turley and Stephen Driggs. She moved to Laramie in March of 2003, to be closer to her mother.

She had many talents, including playing piano and canning. She was very crafty and loved to counter-cross stitch. She grew a garden when possible and helped her boys raise and take care of animals. She loved animals herself and raised several pet Shih Tsu's.

She was very family-oriented, and loved spending time with her boys, reading to them, helping them become Eagle Scouts and watching and supporting them as they played sports. She was a good cook, known especially for her Christmas Eve snacks and program. She worked hard making her home a place of love and peace.

A caring and compassionate individual, she spent many hours giving service to others, whether it was helping neighbors in need or cleaning nursing home patients' teeth. She was a good listener, friend and daughter.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Relief Society president, Primary president and nursery leader.

She was preceded in death by her father.
