(Dec. 15, 1952 - March 22, 2007) Linda Fae Jacobson 54, of Powell, died Thursday, March 22, at her daughter's home in Casper after a courageous battle with cancer. Her family was at her side.Funeral services will be held Thursday March 29, at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell. Visitation will be from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.She was born Dec. 15, 1952, in Havre, Mont., a daughter of Bertha (Gillispie) and Howard Perkins. She graduated from Cut Bank High School in Cut Bank, Mont. She married Greg Jacobson on March 29, 1974, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and they lived in various locations throughout the midwest and southern states. Linda was a homemaker, a published poet, a devoted grandmother, and she enjoyed a good game of pitching horse shoes. Her favorite saying was, "There's lots of things to think about, but nothing to worry about."She is survived by her husband, Greg; daughters Keela (Christian) Lyda of Casper, and Bobbi (Chuck) Lampman of Greybull; brothers Sonny (Maxine) Harrison of Grass Range, Mont., and Marvin (Charlotte) Perkins of Casper; sisters Sharon (Herb) Hershman, of Cut Bank, and Darla (Ron) Hartung of Billings; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Howard Perkins, sister Carol Miller, her mother-in-law, her father-in-law, niece, Brenda DeZort, and nephew, Chad Wingerter.Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Thompson Funeral Home.
