Dear editor:

This letter is in response to a letter in the Sept. 4 Tribune, written by Phil Anthony.

Mr. Anthony suggests that there is no crime in the cities that President Donald Trump is trying to protect. Perhaps he has not heard that the mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, is now praising and thanking Trump for the help he has given her city. The residents of many Democratic-run cities are asking that Trump come to their aid, but the mayors and governors of those same states and cities are telling him to stay away. Do those same “tyrants” care about anything or anyone but their own power and livelihood? How rich did they become as a result of making sure their cities and states are allowed to rot? Sad that Dem mayors and governors have managed to make their incompetence the problem for the American taxpayer.

Rachel Levine didn’t seem to do much as a physician in Biden’s cabinet. She represented one thing that RFK Jr. is trying to control: obesity. Sadly, she allowed her children to go in the same direction. One thing Biden proved to us is that you don’t have to be an expert to be considered an expert. RFK Jr. is a well-informed individual because he has researched what he is talking about. None of the congressional members seemed to have any facts and yet have become unusually wealthy on their yearly salary of $174,000. Big Pharma helped a lot in that area.

It took Biden and his administration four years to destroy this country. Trump cannot repair it in less than a year. He has, however, been dealing with illegals and stopped crossings of illegals into this country. Make no mistake, illegal immigrants have broken federal law and are therefore criminals. No, not all illegals are bad people but enough of them have murdered (especially with the drugs they bring in), raped and put into slavery so many children that everyone is suspect. If you did not hear, at least 300,000 unaccompanied children came into this country and are now missing, some presumably taken into slavery of one sort or another, by unvetted sponsors and the people who brought them in. The protection of these children was Biden and Harris’ job.  Another one they did not do.

As far as the wars that can’t be stopped go. Even Trump must get some cooperation from the participants and he is not getting it. He didn’t start these wars. Perhaps Biden could have stopped them but he didn’t even try. President Trump should, at least, be credited for curtailing hostilities between India and Pakistan, Thailand and Cambodia to name just a couple.

Since so many of the liberal television networks are losing viewership they are letting some of their TDS hate spewers go. Smart on their part but perhaps too little too late as more and more Democrats are walking away because they are tired of it.

If Mr. Anthony would like to start making his own decisions and not just reiterate what he hears on a daily basis, he might start watching some conservative networks. No, he does not have to believe everything he hears, but he might have a chance of hearing both sides of the story to help him make his own decisions.

In our opinion, the liberal television networks are more like The National Enquirer, full of made up stories and ideas that are not unique because they all use the same hateful phrases at the same time. Do any of them have their own thought processes or do they just mimic each other?
