Dear editor:
To Park County Planning & Zoning and County Commissioners,
You have contrived what should be a user friendly informational site for rural property owners to learn what they can and cannot do, to a cumbersome mess that is even more complicated than your original attempt. I finally opened the map, found my property, the color legend, and the first page of Chapter 3 with zone colors and your alphabetical codes. But ONLY that page. The colors on that page do not match the map colors. The colors on the map do not match the colors of the legend. Your YouTube tutorial has ZERO relatable terminology, diagrams or pictures.
We should be able to enter our name and property address to open a page that would describe the zone and uses allowed on our property. Unless, of course, you don't actually have any intention of us learning that information.
Disappointed and disgusted,
Kay Anderson
Rural Powell property owner
