Kart season begins second half

Racers keeping eye on season point standingsJustin Sims, Nicole Timmons and Brianne Siebert lead the Park County Kart Club season point standings as racing action starts down the home stretch for the year. Of the three divisions, the juniors currently have the tightest action atop the leaderboard. Brianne Siebert holds a 29-point margin for error at the moment over Taylor Rentschler. Two more drivers are manuevering for position close behind. The adult division shows Sims with a 31-point lead over challenger Mike Apanashk. Ken Strausheim is another 25 points back in third place. The women's division is led by Nicole Timmons, who has a 36-point lead over Wendy Nielsen. No other drivers are within 50 points. The next racing action for the Park County Kart Club is Saturday.
