(April 30, 1988 - April 14, 2007) Funeral services will be held today (Tuesday), April 17, at 1 p.m. at the LDS Church on Avenue E in Powell for Joshua Jack Middleton, 18, who died from injuries received from a motorcycle accident in Cody on Saturday, April 14. Bishop Daniel Bennion will officiate at services with interment at the Meeteetse Cemetery at 4 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kyle and Derek Cordes, Toby Bender, Rodney Miears, Erik Petersen and Eli Wambeke. Joshua was born in Powell on April 30, 1988. He attended schools in Powell and graduated from Great Falls High School in Great Falls, Mont. He lived in Powell, where he worked in construction.He loved riding his motorcycle and working on anything mechanical. He played football and wrestled for Great Falls High before graduation. His sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. He loved his family and adored playing with all his cousins whenever he could.He is survived by his parents, Benjamin Middleton of Powell, and Lori (Michael) Thunstrom of Fairview, Ore.; sister, Amanda Middleton of Spokane, Wash.; brother, Timothy Middleton of Powell; half-brother Zachary Middleton of Billings; step-brothers Jacob and Joseph Thunstrom of Great Falls; grandparents Charles (Ann) Lawler of Meeteetse; Ronald (Renee) Butts of Walker, Mich.; Ernest Middleton of Corning, Calif.; great-grandparents Lola Bing of Holland Mich., and Florence Butts of Grand Rapids, Mich.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, a great-aunt; his best friend, Toby Bender of Great Falls; and special friend, Kimberly Pruett of Powell.He was preceded in death by his uncle Jack Middleton; great-uncle Charlie Young; his grandmother; great-grandparents, and friend, Ross Manning.Donations may be made to The Joshua Jack Middleton Memorial Fund at Sunlight Federal Credit Union in Cody.Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
