John Vincent Murphy, 85, of Cody, formerly of Norfolk, Virginia, died April 28, 2018, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cody.
A portion of his remains will be scattered on the farm he and his wife Shirley shared in Cody. The remainder of his ashes will be interred at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., with full military honors.
Services are with Ballard Funeral Home.
