Joe L. Jacobs, formerly of Powell, died at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper on Friday, April 13, 2012. He was 30.
Joe was born to Debbie and John (J.J.) Jacobs in Worland on March 12, 1982. He received his education in Worland.
He enjoyed camping, muscle cars and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Brown; maternal grandfather, Clifford Blaney, a step-grandfather Keith “Red” Davis, and a cousin, Justin Wickwire.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie and her companion Richy of Worland; his father, John (J.J.) of Cody; a sister, Lisa Bornhort of Billings; his ex-wife, Millie and his children, Johnathan and Zara Jacobs of Powell; his maternal grandmother, Clarebelle Davis and her companion Bill Kennedy of Lusk; aunts and uncles: Delbert and Renee Blaney of Browning, Mont., Velinda and Joe Malone of Chadron, Neb., Roka and Janis Blaney of Colorado Springs, Colo., Sam Blaney of Lusk, Lavelda Wickwire of Casper, Betty and Osce Lewis of Seattle, Wash., George and Amy Davis of Selinsgrove, Pa., Rena Hayworth of Greeley, Colo., Carol Ehly, David Jacobs both of Cody, and Richard Brown of Joliet, Mont.; as well as several cousins and close friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel in Worland. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at Sanders Park in Worland.
