(Dec. 8, 1932 - Jan. 29, 2012)
Henry Leroy Weller, a lifelong Meeteetse resident, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 at the Billings Clinic from complications due to a stroke. He was 79.
He was born Dec. 8, 1932 in Meeteetse, the fourth child to Rebecca (Swaim) and George Weller. He spent many years working on various ranches in the Meeteetse area. In later years he kept busy shoveling snow, mowing lawns, recycling and helping his friends.
Henry never married. He loved his extended family and was proud of them and their accomplishments. He was always willing to share and often gave unique gifts on holidays, birthdays and just whenever. His Christmas cards were ready early in November.
Henry was independent and kept his home and belongings neat and orderly. He took excellent care of what he had. He walked every day and kept the shoe repair shop busy keeping soles on his boots.
He was the Lord’s agent for others to express love in service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold Eugene in 1930 and George Daniel in 1927; sister Jessie Benes in 2002 and brother-in-law Paul Benes in 1984.
