She was born to Josie and Maldon Boyer on Oct. 15, 1918 in Bridger, Mont. She married George B. (Slim) Carter in 1940, and they lived in Cody, where she was employed at City Hall.Survivors include a son, Robert Carter of Basin; a daughter, Linda Bond of Milton, Wash.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
