The spooks will be spooking, and the ghouls will be ghouling at this year’s haunted house put on by the Reno family of Powell.
For the first time since 2009, the haunted house will be open to the public from 6-8:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) and Wednesday at 174 S. Douglas St. There is no cost to get a good fright, but donations are appreciated. All money raised will go to the City of Powell/Moyer Animal Shelter.
Denyce Reno said the family chose the animal shelter for the benefit because it is a no-kill shelter.
“They do so much for the community. I just think they’re a really worthy cause,” she said.
