The Good Old Boys of Powell Golf Club played “six-six-six” this week, where four-man teams used one net ball on the first six holes, two on the next six and three on the last six.
In first place on Tuesday, with a score of 125, was the team of Buddy Rae, Cas Seago, David Frost and Lloyd Snyder. Second place went to Jason Quigley, Paul Devoss, Rhett Wolff and Pete Pleban with a 130. At 134 and in third place were Larry Hedderman, Kevin Lineback, Dennis McCollum and Ray Nelson.
Tied for forth place at 137 were the teams of Gerry Johns, Don Hardy, Thom Seliga and Jerry Linsdau, and Bob Mason, Clark Jeffs, Marc Saylor with a blind draw of Seliga.
Four deuces were carded: Quigley on holes 15 and 17, Hedderman on hole 15 and Saylor on hole 15. Low Gross went to Quigley with an 80, and low net went to Snyder with a 69.
