The Good Old Boys league of Powell Golf Club played 123-CCC last week. On par 4s, the four-man teams used three net scores; on par 3s, the team used net scores; and on par 5s, the team used one net and one gross score.
Among the Good Old Boys, the team of Buddy Rae, James Caffro, Kevin Lineback and Lloyd Snyder finished first with a score of 179.
At 181, David Frost, Steve Burtoft, Gerry Linsdau and Bob Mason finished in second place. One stroke behind them, Bob Parsons, Clark Jeffs, John Chase and Gerry Johns took third with a 182. Jim Tobin, Thom Seliga, Mike Hernandez and Dennis McCollum finished fifth at 191. And rounding out the field in fifth place, Larry Hedderman, Cas Seago, Ray Nelson and Marc Saylor shot a 197.
Four deuces were carded: Nelson and Caffro on hole No. 4, Chase on hole 8 and Frost on hole 15. Rae had the low net score at 67, and Frost’s round of 81 was the low gross.
