The Good Old Boys league at Powell Golf Club played Hi-Low this week, where four-man teams used a high and low net for their score.
John Chase, Kevin Lineback, Mike Hernandez and Bill Hendricks finished in first place with a score of 146.
One stroke behind them, Jim Tobin, Cas Seago, Dennis McCollum and Bob Mason scored a 147 for a second-place finish. At 148 was the third place team of Thom Seliga, Clark Jeffs, Ray Nelson and Lloyd Snyder. Two teams tied for fourth at 158: Jerry Linsdau, Bob Parsons, Rhett Wolff and Gerry Johns; and Marc Saylor and Stephen Burtloft, with a blind draw of Jeffs and Wolff. In sixth place, Larry Hedderman, Dave Frost, Judge Gambill and Buddy Rae shot a 162.
Four deuces were carded in the round: Mason and Frost on hole 4, and Jeffs on holes 15 and 17. Snyder had the low net at 67, and Saylor’s 78 was the low gross.
