Reaching the last week of August the Good Old Boys game of choice was Two Best Ball.
In this game each team uses their two best net scores for their team score.
Coming in first place with a score of 126 was the team of Olie Olson, Randy Mair, Jim Core and Clark Jeffs.
Second went to the team of Paul Devoss, Ed Swistak, Ray Nelson and Lloyd Snyder with a 131.
The final two teams tied for third place with a 138. Those teams were Dennis McCollum, Don Hardy, Joe Comer and Dave Frost as well as Bob Varian, Gerry Johns, Larry Hedderman and Lance Mason.
Two deuces were carded, one by Varian on hole No. 4 and Swistak on hole No. 17.
Swistak and Core tied for the low net with a 69 and the low gross went to Core with a 78.
