The middle of July brought a new game for the Good Old Boys, as the game of the week was 321-123.
On holes 1, 4 and 7 you use three net scores, on holes 2, 5 and 8 you use two net scores and on holes 3, 6 and 9 you use one net score. On the back nine you reverse the order, so on holes 10, 13 and 16 you use one net score, on holes 11, 14 and 17 you use two net scores and three net scores on holes 12, 15 and 18.
In first place with a score of 121 was the team of Thom Seliga, Dennis McCollum, Joe Comer and Cas Seago.
Second place went to Ed Swistak, Curt Dugger, Larry Hedderman and a blind draw of Don Hardy with a score of 124. Third place just one stroke behind was the team of Hardy, Lloyd Snyder, Dave Frost and Jim Tobin.
Rounding out the team scores with a 128 was the team of Randy Mair, Steve Burtoft, Clark Jeffs and a blind draw of McCollum. No deuces were carded, and Hardy recorded the low gross and net for the day with scores of 75 and 70 respectively.
