Gloria Brazelton, 72, of Powell, Wyoming, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 8, 2024. Gloria was born June 7, 1952 to Gene and Jerry West in Hobbs, New Mexico. Gloria’s family moved to Worland, Wyoming, in 1958. She was the oldest of three children and a graduate of Worland Senior High. She was active in band, secretary of the art club and member of the 4-H.
On Aug. 13, 1971, Gloria married the love of her life, Roy T. Brazelton, in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
Gloria was a homemaker, enjoyed grooming dogs, was a member of the Cody Eagles and most recently a proud member of The Broad Squad.
Gloria is survived by her younger sister, Janet West (Jerry Martin), her two sons Casey Brazelton (Melissa), Jamie Brazelton, and four grandchildren, Lennon, Kash, Aspen and Garrett Brazelton.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Roy T. Brazelton of 50 years, mother Jerry West, father Gene West and brother David West.
A celebration of life will be held at Powell Elks Lodge on Nov. 30 at 3 pm.
