A former Powell Valley Healthcare CEO is helping to lead the brand new hospital in Pinedale.
The Sublette County Health Board of Trustees recently announced the formal appointment of William Patten as the facility’s interim CEO.
The health care organization opened the roughly $73.8 million Sublette County Hospital in August and Patten came on board in September.
Chief Operating Officer Lindsey told the Pinedale Roundup that Patten’s experience with small-town hospitals is “exactly what we need as we continue to grow and operate our new facility.”
Patten has worked in health care for four decades, including serving as Powell Valley Healthcare’s CEO from 2012 to 2015. In his online biography, Patten says he “led the development of a culture change and quality improvement initiative” while in Powell.
Alongside the brand new hospital, the Sublette County district also operates a medical clinic and skilled nursing facility in Pinedale plus another clinic in Marbleton.
“Sublette County Health has an incredible foundation and an exciting future,” Patten told the Pinedale Roundup. “I’m honored to join the team and work alongside the dedicated staff and community members who make this place so special.”
