A marquee matchup between the 6-2 Buffalo Bills and the 7-1 Seattle Seahawks did not disappoint on Sunday. Current Bills quarterback Josh Allen — a former University of Wyoming standout — got off to a fast start, throwing two touchdowns in the first quarter and leading Buffalo out to a 17-0 advantage. It was 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter when Allen led the Bills downfield for a Zack Moss rushing TD. On the next Buffalo drive, Allen took it in himself on the ground and the Bills held a 34-10 advantage from which the Seahawks could not recover. The Bills and Allen — who finished with 415 yards passing and four total touchdowns against no turnovers — now sit atop the AFC East this late into the season for the first time since 1993.

On the other side of the field in Buffalo was Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister. Hollister, a former teammate of Allen at UW, hauled in five catches for 60 yards. Both mark a season high for the fourth-year player.

Amongh other Pokes in the pros:

Brian Hill and Tyler Hall suited up for the Atlanta Falcons for a Sunday showdown with the Denver Broncos. Hill rushed eight times for 24 yards on the ground, while Hall made one tackle on special teams as the Falcons got the 34-27 win.

The Chicago Bears and Tashaun Gipson took the field against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Sunday. Gipson made his ninth start of the season but did not record any stats in the 24-17 loss.

Chase Roullier made the 45th start of his NFL career on Sunday as the Washington Football Team hosted the New York Giants. The Giants got the win 23-20.

The New Orleans Saints took the field in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. Carl Granderson saw game action on the defensive line and on special teams but did not record any stats in the 38-3 Saints win.

Cassh Maluia did not see any game action in New England Patriots’ game while Rico Gafford was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday, becoming a free agent.

Andrew Wingard of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Mike Purcell of the Denver Broncos are both on their respective teams’ injured reserve list.

Marcus Epps of Philadelphia Eagles and Logan Wilson of the Cincinnati Bengals were both on bye weeks this week and continue their NFL action in week 10.
