Dear Editor:
For God so loved the world that he truly saved a wretch like me.
I’m so undeserving of God’s love. I have turned my back on him time and time again in my life. Yet his love for me is steadfast. Did he not leave the 99 sheep and go in search of the one? I am that one.
At Christmas, God sent his son Jesus Christ into the world in human flesh. Now we are celebrating God’s unfailing love and faithfulness. He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him might not perish, but have eternal life.
Jesus didn’t come into the world to condemn it, he came into the world to save it. Do not be deceived by the lies of men and the world. Turn away from sin and darkness. Jesus Christ is the light of the world, his truth will set you free. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.
Heavenly father, thank you for your amazing grace poured out on me and on the whole world.
