The Powell-Shoshone FFA chapter has seen success at several recent competitions.
Aramonie Brinkerhoff and Sam Yount represented the chapter at the March 3 District Creed Speaking contest, with Brinkerhoff winning first place and Yount taking second. With their finishes, the two Powell students advanced to the regional competition. Meanwhile, Emma Brence took fourth place.
At the regional competition, held March 16, Brinkerhoff took first place and advanced to the state FFA competition, usually held in June.
