Dear editor:
Is it a characteristic unique to clown cars, that they continue to roll on, even as the wheels fall off?
Kristi Noem, director of Homeland Security, is gone from her position. Probably not because she oversaw, and subsequently attempted to cover up, the murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good; possibly not even because she was caught funnelling hundreds of millions of advertising dollars to friends, or even because of her purchase of a flying love-nest for her beau-on-the-side. Maybe it was because her husband was caught wearing fake boobies?
Pam Bondi is gone. Her failure? Insufficiently weaponizing the Department of Justice, I imagine. Or maybe failing to distract the public from revelations in the Epstien files?
Pete Hegseth, secretary of "War," has started one despite the president's promise never to engage in a foreign war. First came the bombing of school girls. Then dead American soldiers (with the president hawking a MAGA cap at the "dignified transfer" ceremony of these individuals. So dignified!). Now two American fighter jets have been shot down by a "nonexistent" air defense system. Gas prices are up because of this war, but we're all good with that because of "reasons," right? And nothing says "American Christian values" like threatening to bomb people into the Stone Age!
Speaking of gas prices, Gregg Phillips, who leads the Office of Response and Recovery at FEMA, has found a way to teleport to the Waffle House. Too bad he won't share his discovery with the rest of us — what a way to save on gas!
And through it all, our very own Sen. John Barrasso, majority whip in the Senate, watches from the sidelines.
