Ethella Hibbert died Saturday, Feb. 12, in Ralston. She was 96.
Ethella was born June 3, 1914 in Otto to Maurice William Anderson and Lettie Dally Jones. She attended college, and on Oct. 30, 1939, she and Walter Mailan Hibbert were married. Ethella and Walter lived in Otto where she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints the primary and relief society, and the young women’s society. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, music, candy making, crafts, travel and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, two brothers, three sisters, granddaughter Camille Williams and grandson Dusty Hibbert.
She is survived by sons Walter (Renee) Hibbert, Jim (Judy) Hibbert, Dale (Emily) Hibbert and daughters Saralee (Darrell) Sanders, Linda (Carl) Jones, Lola Myers and Glea (Dennis) Reno and sisters Maurine Erickson and Maxine Yorgason, 37 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Avenue E in Powell. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. at the church.
