Construction on the emergency room at Powell Valley Healthcare will require closing the ER’s outside entrance and the pharmacy drive-up from Monday through Wednesday, Sept. 28-30.
The ER will remain open 24 hours a day, with access through the hospital’s main entrance.
“If you need to be seen in the ER, let the staff at the front desk know you are there for the Emergency Room,” said PVHC spokesman Jim Cannon. “You will continue to complete an initial COVID screening and temperature check, then proceed with a staff member for emergency care registration.”
The pharmacy will also remain open. Patients seeking pharmacy services can simply park and walk up to the drive-up window or enter the hospital, complete the initial screening and proceed to the walk-up pharmacy window. For more information or questions, call the hospital at 307-754-2267.
