CODY — The Cody Country Chamber of Commerce's Shop Cody Committee is bringing back a longtime community favorite—Downtown Cody Crazy Days, taking place Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8.

For two days, downtown businesses will celebrate the end of summer with special events, exclusive promotions, and some of the biggest sales of the season. Whether shoppers are preparing for back-to-school, getting a head start on Christmas shopping, or simply looking for unbeatable bargains, Crazy Days offers something for everyone.

The festivities begin during the afternoon on Friday, with participating businesses hosting VIP shopping events, special promotions, and unique customer experiences throughout the downtown district. Watch for updates on social media from your favorite downtown businesses notifying of these VIP events.

The excitement continues on Saturday, with the main event when shoppers can enjoy Crazy deals all day at participating retailers. Weather permitting, sidewalk sales will line Sheridan Avenue for easy, outdoor browsing, allowing a taste of what shoppers will find when they step inside each shop.

“Crazy Days is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our locally owned businesses,” said Jennifer Thoma, executive director of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce. “Some of the best shopping experiences can be found right here in our community. Shop local events like Crazy Days remind us of what a special retail and business community we have.”

The event is organized by the Chamber's Shop Cody Committee, whose mission is to promote local shopping and encourage residents to support the businesses that invest in and strengthen the Cody community throughout the year.

A complete list of participating businesses, special promotions, and event details will be announced soon. Shoppers are encouraged to follow the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce on social media and visit codychamber.org for updates.
